Case Study #10 : Hospital
J&A funded a multi-million dollar transaction with a Midwest Hospital by taking a higher residual than the vendor did on their own equipment.
We funded a large MRI made by a Japanese manufacturer for a mid-size hospital in Iowa. We were able to provide the client with a flexible structure and a more aggressive rate than what was offered by the vendor’s own financing arm. The customer was able to purchase the equipment for a preset amount avoiding the negotiation of a Fair Market Value while also having the option to either extend the lease month-to-month or return the equipment with no further obligation. The terms were clear and concise with no hidden costs. Furthermore, it is important to note that we had better pricing than several large banks that were also competing on the deal.
