Rate lock request due to the length of time to implement software project.


A mid-sized, privately held fertilizer manufacturer located in Texas had a $650,000.00 technology upgrade of which 90% of the equipment was software. The project was estimated to take 6-9 months. The customer wanted to lock in rates due to the rising interest rates. We provided a three month rate lock, started the lease and held back funds to pay the vendor when the work was completed. The lessee was able to lock in a rate when rates were climbing at a fast pace while still having control of paying the vendor upon completion of work.
