Case Study #1 Non Profit Organization
Multiple locations require independence in ordering equipment from the corporate office and the corporate office needs controls put in place in regards to spending.

A large not for profit organization has multiple locations throughout the state. The local branches were structured to order equipment independent of the corporate office, yet the corporate office was the Lessee on all transactions. In order to coordinate the de-centralized purchasing with the centralized billing, we offered the customer a global pro rata agreement. The agreement allows J&A the flexibility to pay any vendor from multiple locations without additional documentation. The corporate office sets a limit on the amount of the agreement, thus controlling overall costs. This allows the local branches to negotiate favorable terms with vendors and the ability to send purchase orders immediately. The corporate office enjoys the fact that they are not overwhelmed with multiple schedules while maintaining the overall spending budget.
